Custom pack download error (link to pack)

Hello! Ive been wanting to make my own modpack for me and my friends and ive followed the instructions carefully but im not catching my mistake. Basically i did everything and uploaded my pack into dropbox got the link and everything but when i enter it into the launcher the download doesnt start it just flashes my pack name followed by 0% Ex: Modpack-downloading-0% Any help would be much appreciated. You put the download of the pack in your pack details as the link of the technicAPI download, not the download of the pack.

you have to move your modpacknamehere.zip into the Public folder and then right-click on it and then select "Copy public link" and then copy and paste that link into the "Modpack Location" in the pack edit page.
