1.7.2 Vanilla Minecraft water/lava issue help!

i just started playing minecraft again after a break into another game and 1.7.2 not modded just plain minecraft using this launcher has done something to the water and lava textures and some how is tied into the torch aswell not the redstone one. i need help really bad to fix this issue as im dont know anything at all about how the new way minecraft takes on textures with the new lancher or even mojangs lancher.both have the same effect.

i really hope someone can help me resolve this, there's nothing in the resource pack folder or anything.

I'm unable to repeat this issue, have you tried updating your graphics drivers?
