Need help repairing staff and curse bone?

I remember seeing something on the wiki saying that you can repair staffs (wind, electric, ice etc.) if it is enchanted. Same thing with curse bone, however I have both of these items enchanted and I can't seem to repair any of them. I am hoping someone will be able to help me, I am new to hexxit and this forum. I currently have a total of 12 books around the enchantment table. Do I need more or something. Whenever i put my enchanted damage electric staff in the their it says repair cost 0, same thing for my cursed bone.
