Cannot find PermGen

Somehow all of the sudden, Hexxit keeps crashing before it loads to the Minecraft main screen.

I heard from some people on forums saying that I should increase my RAM via PermGen, but I do not have PermGen available on the Technic Launcher, nor I cannot find it anywhere.

And there are other problems, such has running out of memory, the "Mojang" screen suddenly becomes unresponsive, etc.

Here are my specs:

Manufacturer / Model: HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC

Intel® Core i5-2520M CPU @ 2.50GHz

RAM: 8.00 GB

System: 64-bit Operating System

PermGen is on by default now.

Alright, if PermGen is in the Technic Launcher by default, then is there a way I can allocate more memory (assuming I need to allocate more than 1GB) while in 32-bit?

I tried going for 64-bit, it worked, but then it rendered my regular Minecraft with a little delayed lag when in a Multiplayer server.

No, 32bit Java has a hard limit of 1GB.
