Lostrokk Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Hey everyone. I've been working on a certain Hexxit-inspired modpack for quite so time, but I can never seem to make it function properly on the Technic Launcher. I've read numerous threads on how to structure a modpack correctly, but none of them seem to be able to tackle a certain problem that I've encountered. Whenever I add the modpack to my Technic Launcher, it boots up Minecraft, but the start menu always lacks a "Mods" and "Quit Game" button, almost as if it were a vanilla version of Minecraft. Does anyone have any idea as to why my custom Modpack is acting like this? A bit of advice, or even a fix, would be nice. Here's a screenshot of what the start-up menu looks like: Before I forget, here's the list of mods that are currently contained within the modpack: Minecraft Forge Optifine Render Player API Player API Kes5219's Utils Mod Better Grass and Leaves Mod Superior Enchanting Twilight Forest Tux Weapons Village Taverns Xeno's Reliquary More Enchantments Mod Metallurgy MAtmos IronChests Inventory Tweaks InfernalMobs GrowthCraft DungeonPack Biomes-O-Plenty Backpacks Improved First Person UsefulFood TukMC BattleTowers B0bGary's Furnace Fuels

Lostrokk Posted November 25, 2013 Author Posted November 25, 2013 you forgot to put the H in http when you set the link What do you mean? On the platform url? The modpack location?
Lostrokk Posted November 25, 2013 Author Posted November 25, 2013 the modpack loaction Just checked the modpack location, the "h" in "http" is there, but there's an "s" at the end of "http", causing it to be "https". Should I remove the s? Sorry, I know nothing about links.

Lostrokk Posted November 25, 2013 Author Posted November 25, 2013 no, the S means that it is a safe link, not a normal link. Oh, ok. If you're willing to actually check the .zip file itself, here's a dropbox link to it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/w4lt787vs0bzd38/Edge%20of%20the%20Horizon%20v1.0.zip
Lostrokk Posted November 25, 2013 Author Posted November 25, 2013 I I alredy checked it, it seemed fine. I would assume it's a conflict between certain mods, then?

Lostrokk Posted November 25, 2013 Author Posted November 25, 2013 when I tryed to install it earler, it said in the console it wan't That's odd, but oh well. What could the problem possibly be, then?
TwoTails Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 ok, now that I checked, you did a MAJOR fuck up, you put the zips for the stuff for the modpack in the modpack.jar, not the enextracted files. (EDIT) here is a fixed version of your modpack.jar with all of the mods you had in your old one. http://www.mediafire.com/download/w061ce8h68o8d0n/modpack.jar
