Launcher not opening

Operating System: Windows 7

Java Version: V. 7 update. 45

Antivirus Program: Norton 360

Description of Problem:

I'm trying to open up the Technic Launcher but it doesn't open what so ever. I just get the Technic launcher loading emblem and then it shuts down. I can't even update when I attempt to open it. HELP? I've added it to my Allow folder on my Norton 360 firewall. What should I do?

Ok guise I finally figured it out. I had to download the linux technic launcher and it works now. Thanks for anyone who looks at this.
