A temporary fix - once you load the game, go into options - video settings - fullscreen mode as long as you are in fullscreen mode it'll be right-side up. the buttons are where they are supposed to be, even though the IMAGE of them is flipped, so you may have to move the mouse around until you see the buttons light up.
