tekkit in 1.5.2 insted of 1.7.2

Description of Problem:

When i launch tekkit its un 1.5.2 not1.7.2. it tells me that i can manually update it but it takes me to mojang and tells me to download 1.7.2 but i already have 1.7.2

Don't press that update button - it's for Vanilla (normal, unmodded) Minecraft. Tekkit is only built for Minecraft 1.5.2, so you can't currently update it any further than that.
