Server help!

Ok so I'm trying to host a hamachi server for myself and three friends. if i run the minecraft_server file it loads up just fine and I have no issues connecting, but not a single mod item works. I can see all the items and blocks in NEI but I cant give them to myself and non of the mod's ores are in the world. I've tried running the launch.bat file first but it always has some sort of error (will post at the end). I have the latest 64 bit java (I have a 64 bit OS) 4GB of ram, the latest technic launcher, the latest big dig server file, and I'm running windows 8. What am i doing wrong? Please help.
