Upgrade to the current launcher version, your approximately 170 versions behind.

Max Memory: 247 MB

This can't be right. Try raising the allocated memory for the launcher, I'd imagine that memory allocation that low could literally break some processes. Disable your antivirus as well, just in case its blocking something.

This happened to me as well. I can only play the mod packs i had already downloaded before, but i can't update or download any now! Please help as i really want to play a mod pack (containing a mod i really want to play but can't get otherwise (Fossils and Archeology) but it won't let me download it. Please help! It says unable to unzip the folder.
