Tekkit wont launch!

Title: Tekkit wont launch!

Version: 1_0_3

OS: windows 7 professional version 6. 1

Java Version: i have no clue

Description of Problem:

every time i try to play tekkit i press play and it loads and then it will give me an error msg p.s i try to delete and re download tekkit but it keeps saying java cant delete file blah blah blah wile it is open in java se binary what do i do?

Error Messages:

Error installing the following pack: tekkit

An error occurred while attempting to delete 'C;\Users\student\appdata\roaming\.technic\tekkitmain\mods\additionalpipes2.3.1-BC3.7.1.jar' from the cache:Please check your system settings

if you try finding that file and delete it manually it could work, you can do so by searching for "run" in programs and files (in your start menu) and then typing %appdata% in the run window and searching it.

Then you go into .technic, then tekkitmain, then mods, then try to delete the file : additionalpipes2.3.1-BC3.7.1.jar.

Hope that helps, it was just a logical thought.

Please verify your java version and post it here. Otherwise, make sure there is no instances of minecraft running, modded, vanilla or otherwise.

I just solved this issue for a friend by double checking the Windows Task Manager and ending all "java.exe" instances then running technic launcher again. Hope this helps.
