Teleflubie Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Hello, So, my problem is, i'm trying to get on my own server for me and a couple of friends, well, now i started the server and now seems that nothing spawns in there (i mean, like battle towers, or castles,...) Does somebody know what i did wrong or what the problem is? Thanks.
Teleflubie Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 Yes, if i'm going into my inventory i can see Toomanyitems appear, and if i look in that list i see the special swords, meteorite stuff,...
ThePagan Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 can you grab any of it? are you using launch.bat to launch the server and is it loading hexxit.jar?
Teleflubie Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 so, i can grab everything that's in that list. i started the launch.bat file and it loaded al the chunks... Then it does nothing anymore, if i start up hexxit it does work. But i do not see hexxit.jar come up.
ThePagan Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 the launch.bat should have hexxit.jar preprogrammed in it if you downloaded the hexxit server zip. Does your launch.bat look like this? java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar Hexxit.jar nogui pause
Teleflubie Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 Yes it does. But, could it be that there are no buildings because it's a world that i downloaded?
ThePagan Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Yeah, buildings should only generate in new chunks. If you downloaded the map you'd have to go out past any already generated chunks
Teleflubie Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 so i can't use any downloaded map, nor can i use a map from my vanilla minecraft survival? Okay, i get it, thank you very much sir.
ThePagan Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 If you were using a plugin for multiple worlds you could add those to your server and just have a fresh hexxit world for adventuring
