Whenever I open any modpack it won't load

Launcher Version: 2.0.4

Operating System: Windows 8.1

Java Version: The latest version they have provided

Antivirus Program: Don't have one, atleast I don't think so

Description of Problem:

Whenever I open the launcher it shows all the packs normally, then I click on play with a pack and what happens is that it loads but at the end it comes up with 0% version.json or 100% version.json, whichever it is it stays like that, I left it on overnight for hours but nothing has changed. This happens with every single modpack

Error Messages:

It doesn't have a message it just stays there with the version.json not changing at all.

This is something an antivirus could impede (Even window's defender, really could block it)

Also, verify that, for absolute certain, you are running java 1.7 version 45 (Or higher, if behold, they release some version between this post and when you read it)

I already have the newest java provided. I had a friend give me his bin, but nothing has changed! It keeps getting to the version.json and just stalling.

Did you disable your antivirus completely?
