Operating System: Windows 7 Pro x64

Java Version: 7.0.45 x32, 7.0.45 x64

Antivirus Program: N/A

Description of Problem:

on modpack launch it removes extra mods such as opis, waila, inventory tweaks, and shadors mods

Alright, first off, reporting two versions of java installed is bad. Uninstall the 32 bit. Its not causing the issue, its just straight up bad for most java related things and WILL bite you in the ass later down the road as dependancies are set.

As for your issue, ensure that the mods are actually installed properly, 100%. I can assure you, from personal experience, the technic launcher will only remove extra mods if you say yes when it asks to update. IF the pack you add onto requests to update, refuse it. it will still launch.

I wasn't the only one with this problem some of the other people I play with had the same problem i got around the issue by setting it to manually select a version to stop it removing the pack.

Well yes, because manual setting the version downloads the version, then leaves it. Having it set to recommended causes it to check against the source every single time, as to see if its still the recommended version.

I believe this is the launcher doing integrity checks. I believe this to be a saint because the less technical of the users that install mods (for unfair advantages) won't know how to fix this.
