32-bit Java won't allow user authentication

Question

Posted

Launcher Version: 383

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Java Version: 1.7.0_45

Antivirus Program: avast!

Description of Problem:

I'm trying to create a modpack with a mod that requires 32-bit Java to run. I'm launching the Technic Launcher jar file with 32-bit java by using "%ProgramFiles(x86)/Java/jre7/bin/javaw.exe -jar TechnicLauncher.jar". The problem is that this is causing authentication issues. All modpacks can only be played offline. When using 64-bit Java, there are no authentication issues.
