I would suggest running a few scans if you've been playing GMod in the last 4 or 5 days.

Also I'd reinstall Steam along with Garrysmod.

Look for anything involving "kim" two files would be kim.txt and kim_win32.dll (found in garrysmod/data folder)

Look around for some weird processes being run in you task manager. dcomuti.exe will ask to use cmd (deny it.) dcomuti.exe is found in C:ProgtamData( Hidden){REDACTED}(Temp folder / Hidden)

NOTE: Look for Microsoft SQL Database

Completely remove all three of those. Run some scans after that as well. I've found a few Trojans so far.

NOTE: If you have kin.txt please move it to a usb and remove the usb from your computer. Once it is on a usb please PM SaintSin.

WATCH FOR:

kim.txt

kim_win32.dll

dcomuti.exe

ngov.txt

This is true, I have found these things and people have been reporting that they got viruses from playing on GMod servers.

so, beware people...
