Description of Problem:

I made a tekkit classic server so me and my friends could play but after a while of digging we started to wonder where were the other ores, i opened up my inventory and searched up wood tap and when i clicked to grab it and it said *item id* does not exist

Unless you paste your server logs (ForgeModLoader-0.log, Server.log) the only advice I can give you is:

Redownload the server and reinstall your server.
