How can I change the ore generation?

I would like to know how to change the ore generation, because I find that it make the game to easy to be able to mine diamond at y:64 and found them into vein of 12.Same for the redstone and all the other ores that are normally found deeper.

Either on your server (if SMP) or client (if SSP), check out the /attack-of-the-bteam/config/cofh/CoFHWorld.cfg and CoFHWorld-Generation.cfg files.
