Quantum computer entangling

I can't entangle the quantum computers. I have tried everything, Putting it in different positions crafting them in survival crafting them in creative. All the wikis say to put a quantum computer next to a piece of essence of entanglement. Has this changed?

P.s I didn't know whether this was a bug or not, sorry if it's wrong.

I found that you actually need two QCs:

EMPTY  EMPTY  EMPTY

    QC       EoE        QC   

EMPTY  EMPTY  EMPTY
