When logging into a friends SMP world, or changing dimensions, there is a 10-20 second lag where I fall through the world. Chunks load fine, but the ground isn't solid. After falling for awhile, I appear back where I started, without dying.
(drop down for version only gives me 1_0_3, but I am using recommended version 1.1.10)

Description of Problem:
