Weird Crash

Hello everyone

 

First off all great mod pack, love it, however...

 

Everytime i look at a Enderman the game crashes, off course this is a problem if i am needing pearls.

 

Any help would be appreciated and i will give as much information as needed

Have you tried resetting the modpack?

I have not , is that just a case of deleting the folder in .Tehcnic then allowing the launcher to download the pack again, then adding my world back into the folder ?

No if you are in the technic launcher you click the cog under the pack logo. And then you click on "Reset pack".

I am not sure if it gets rid of the world, So just in case make a backup of your saves.

Problem still exists, after reset, at first i thought it was the texture pack i was using, however is disabled that.

hmm do you have an error log?

I don't, this is because the game hangs In a ( not Responding ) state as soon as "steve's " eyes look at a enderman,

 

Going to start a new world plant a few enderman around and see what happens

 

 

Edit : Still happens on new world, Could it be Java ?

Do you go back to the launcher after it crashed?
Uhm well make sure you have the most recent java ofc and the one for your system ( everyone automatically download a 32 bit version o.0 ) here you can get the most recent java builds https://www.java.com/nl/download/manual.jsp and the 64 bit builds as well.

I don't, i have to manually close the program through task manager, it's strange that it hangs there i might let it crash and go through the motions automatically instead of a manual close to see if it generates a crash report

Lets hope. Also what you can do

is while you play leave the console open ( Can also be done with the cog next the the X in the right top corner) Seen if it trows errors in that.

nope no crash log just the Java platform SE is not responding how

Side note, Does not happen On FTB's Horizons, thinking i might have to re install technic launcher, essentially fresh and clean install

well its annoying as well Xd like when you look at the enderman when you don't want to, They keep stealing my house.

So re-installing the launcher, entered tekkit no crash...Yay

 

 

Went to download AOTB-T pack, consult modpack author lol, it's not my day.

Fixed

 

So for future reference, if anyone has problems with a game hang, whilst looking at mobs, try re-installing everything technic related, ( of course back up your saves first )
