buddahcjcc Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Now I cant access my server (as its 1.5.2) I deleted the entire tekkit folder but when I got the launcher again and eventually redownloaded everything again, Im still upgraded and still cant connect
Wind_Jedi Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 This happened to me this morning also. I am also getting a lot of ID mismatches with EE3 and Atomic Science mods. Anyone know how to fix it? The server I typically use is upgrading to 1.6.4 but the ID mismatches are messing up the game so far.
Nicko3141 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I'm also experiencing the OP's problem - would love some guidance on how to downgrade to 1.5.2
Wind_Jedi Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I was able to go back to 1.5.2 by doing the following: I made sure I had a backup of the .technic folder in %appdata% Roaming. I deleted the entire .technic folder and replaced it with the original backup of the .technic This reverted my minecraft back to 1.5.2. If you don't have any backup copy then I am not sure how to get that done.
Jumborino Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 (edited) I too upgraded and now, lost our whole world on our server. Starting from scratch again, also is there any support for bukkitcraft as I was able to use bukkit mods and WorldEdit, now nothing works. Is there going to be any support for bukkitcraft or do I need to go to there forums for support with tekkit? What editor will work now that Worldedit doesn't work. thanks EDIT: I solved the World Edit problem at this link: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Now have all working again on server including worldedit and other mod/plugins, Edited February 22, 2014 by Jumborino
efflandt Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 If anyone still wants to run previous Tekkit version for a server that has not upgraded, there is a little gear under Tekkit in the launcher that you can use to change the version. However, you might also want to set up a separate directory for that in case you want to switch between that and current version. For example in .technic/modpacks (probably .technicmodpacks for Windows users) I added a tekkit-1.1.10 directory for previous version, so I could manually switch to that version and directory in the gear for the old version (so it does not have to redownload files and lose local waypoints everytime you switch). For current tekkit use tekkitmain directory instead (tekkit directory is for Tekkit Classic).
