Can't see Item Entities?

When Playing Tekkit I can't see items when they are thrown on the ground.

This can be a problem because I can't tell if there is an item on the ground or not.

I may have disabled it on accident when I was messing with Optifine to decrease lag.

How can I fix this problem?

Are you still able to pick up the items when they are dropped?

Yes, I can still pick them up, but I can't see them.

This only happens in Tekkit, not TechnicSSP.

sounds like the option of NEI, check that and see if you have the item dropps disabled.
