FIX THIS BUG OR WHAT EVER IT IS!

When i play on single player survival mode i can not break blocks unless i place them, and this is kinda hard for me to play considering i basically cant play since the whole game is about BREAKING and placing blocks! FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!
