Tekkit not loading

Hello all. First time poster here so sorry if I mess anything up.

Im having problems getting tekkit to work at the moment when I launch tekkit through the launcher it doesnt seem to load the mods and for this reason when i try to connect to my server it gets "Disconnected by server Took too long to log in"

The reason i believe it is the tekkit mods not loading is because i can go to the single player mode and launch a new world but it only appears to launch the vanilla version of minecraft i cant search recipes or craft any of the new items.

Anyone heard of anything like this happening before

Finally, update your Java to Java 7, located here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre-7u3-download-1501631.html

Accept the agreement and download the version for your PC.

Finally, delete your .techniclauncher folder (after backing up worlds), and re-install from the launcher.

Yea i just deleted the .techniclauncher folder and all seems good now. Thanks a lot
