How do you uninstall just one of the mods?

Am just starting to get into Modding minecraft, downloaded Technic Launcher and love the game's new look and the tools.

 

I want to turn one off - I believe it's called Not Enough Items.

 

Is there a way to do this?  I play with my kids, and it kind of ruins things when you can just generate a stack of whatever you want!

You can set NEI to Recipe mode in the options (bottom left of your inventory), which allows you to use it to see the recipes of items without spawning them. There's also a config option to lock it in that mode if you don't want yourself or others to be tempted, but you'll have to edit that in the config file separately.
