adding mods

help when i try to add buildcraft into my game and try to start it up it just says "a copy of ID mismaches has been sent to ID mismatches.txt" or something along those lines

You should get idfixminus and itll resolve most id conflicts without needing to manually edit the config files. Keep in mind that manually adding mods to the modpack may cause severe crashes that we are unable to solve without just requesting that particular mod to be removed.
