Server connection problem

Launcher/pack Version:1.0.1.1 (I believe I updated it today)

Operating System:Windows 7 Home Premium

Version of Java:1.6.0_31 from Sun Microsystems inc.

Description of Problem:Whenever I attempt to connect to a Tekkit server I either get an "end of stream" notice or a "Internal exeption: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset".After I return to the multiplayer screen the server I attempted to connect to (SGTekkit)displays a communication error message under the server name

Error Messages:

"Internal exeption: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset"

"end of stream"

The exact same thing happened to me, only I'm on a Mac

be sure that you have the recommended build for tekkit. There was a release of a development build for 1.2.5. That may be your issue. And also, "Version of Java: Latest" is really not descriptive enough. Is it latest java 6 or 7?
