Question

Posted

Launcher/pack Version: Server 2.1.1 Launcher 1.0.1.1

Operating System: Windows 7 (64bit)

Version of Java: Java 7 latest (64bit)

Description of Problem: Severe lag for everyone joining server and wierd errors in server console

Error Messages: [sEVERE] [RecipeManager] custum_recipes.txt recipe #1 error:null, null (says the same for #1-11 and #14 too

[Warning] Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded?

[sEVERE] Java.io.IOException: Recieved string longer than maximum allowed <90 >16>

Link to pastebin of log: http://pastebin.com/QCKAnPND

That's not the latest java 7 though.

First message is what everyone gets so it's a non-issue.

Other than hardware performance issues on the server possible causes could be a lot of chunkloaders, ic2 powerloops or buildcraft pipes dumping their contents somewhere.

oki thx for the reply :) I think it might be a problem with some ingame setup but cant move around to fix it so only solution at the time being is to start over.

it's probably an item spill. You can try running //remove items 1000 when you log in if you can. This will clear any dropped items on the floor assuming you have worldedit installed.
