'Java' is not recognized as an internal or external command

Launcher/pack Version: newest Version

Operating System: 64-bit

Version of Java: 6

Description of Problem: internal External command

Error Messages: 'java' is not recognizable as an internal external command, operable program or batch file.

Help is appreciated!

go to control panel

search for advanced system settings

click on the advanced tab

click Environment Variables

Under system variables find the one labeled Path

Click edit

add the directory or directories of the location of your java.exe with a colon ";" before it

save and then try
