1. My DSU has about 600 seeds in it. I'm pulling from it using a wooden pipe directly one block away to a tesseract which pumps it to a planter. Any excess seeds get pumped back (or should if I can get to that point). I can't extract anything though. Here's a diagram: T Tesseract, DP diamond Pipe, WP Wooden Pipe T (From Harvester) DSU (Seeds) < DP > DSU (Wheat) WP < Engine T This is from TOP DOWN as if you are facing it and it's on a wall)
2. -Power Armor (so much better as there are a ton more add ons and they do much more than the Quantum Suit) -Iron Furnace was kinda redundant because you only used it for about 3% of the game to get an electric furnace. Just get a powered furnace. -Condensers/Collectors were really OP and took the fun and challenge out of the game. You can still use alchemy to turn elements into others with a minium stone at the moment. -You can get a Jetpack add on for the power suit -YES PLEASE As for the modders, I don't know.
3. I was wondering if there was anything special requirements to extract items from a DSU. I'm trying a simple redstone engine with wooden pipe but that doesn't seem to be working. I have the side I'm extracting from set to OUT, yet nothing happens. Pretty much I have an overflow detect system where the item will return to the DSU if the destination is full, and it keeps looping, but I can't extract items from the DSU with pipes of any kind. Putting items INTO it with pipes works fine. Are there any known bugs with this? Or am I just doing something wrong? Is there an easier way to do what I'm trying to do?
4. UPDATE: I had to break and re-place the entire line of conductive pipes leading to my machines to get it to work again. Don't understand why.
5. I shut down my small server today after I finished an energy cell setup. Before I shut it down everything was working correctly (charge, discharge, etc.). I have an array of engines hooked up to conductive pipes that funnel MJ's into the cell. Then one line of conductive pipe goes out of the cell to power all of my TE machines. When I rebooted the server later I found that my energy cell no longer discharges (it still charges). However, if I spawn in a new cell and replace the bugged one the new one will discharge properly. I have tried putting the energy cell directly adjacent to a machine and removing and re placing the bugged cell, but no dice, it still won't discharge. I have it ignore redstone signal. Any idea what causes this or how to fix it?
6. Server is back up but they need to whitelist everyone again... re whitelist me please :D
7. ha maybe the server has become sentient and is now trolling us 0.0
8. I'M GONE FOR 2 DAYS AND THE SERVER GEtS NUKED!?!?!?!? lol jk I understand just hope bewood gets back within a reasonable length of time
9. InGameName: refpuz About me: 18 years old. I've been playing Minecraft since Alpha, and now that I have been exposed to Tekkit, it's like a whole new game again. I have to be honest when I say I'm not good at building visually appealing structures, but I am very good at building fast and efficient pipes, wiring, and factories. Location: EST/NJ Why Tekkitia?: I've looked at other Tekkit servers and either they are too large for that friendly experience, or too complicated whether it be their rules or plugins. I compare Tekkita to a multiplayer experience with close friends. Do you understand troublemaking/rule-breaking/griefing will get you banned/removed? Griefing is one of my pet peeves, so no I will not.
10. Another question, I can't find a good tutorial on filters... Could you explain and or point me in the right direction. Thanks.
11. I'll give it a shot. Could the culprit be a miscommunication between EE and BC in terms of how pipes work?
12. So I made this huge elaborate factory for multiple items, which involves extracting materials out of condensers. Apparently, steam and combustion engines will only extract one item at a time like redstone engines from these chests, but act normally on regular chests (stacks of 24 and a whole stack). What gives? Or am I doing something wrong?
13. Just wondering if the new "Open to LAN" to feature in Minecraft 1.3.1 will be compatible/implemented with Tekkit (when it gets updated to the current version of MC), for those people without an extra computer to run a server on. Just speculation. Thoughts?
14. go to control panel search for advanced system settings click on the advanced tab click Environment Variables Under system variables find the one labeled Path Click edit add the directory or directories of the location of your java.exe with a colon ";" before it save and then try
15. I don't know what I did but now it is working :)
16. I really hope my persistence for a fix for this isn't categorized as spam but I'm getting really frustrated as there seems to be no fix for this...
17. Mine still doesn't work... Does it have to do with your set java heap size under control panel maybe?
18. So editing the memory constraints could work.... intriguing :)
19. Seriously I extract everything in the zip to a separate folder and then click launch and I get this message. Is there really NOBODY who can help me even in the slightest bit?
20. Does no one else have this problem? :(
21. Hello everyone I am new to these forums and I hope you can help me. I downloaded the server client today and extracted everything to a folder and yada yada... When I launch the bat file CMD comes up but nothing happens. I get no error message. All it says is press any key to continue and when I do it closes. It does nothing. I have JAVA 7 64 bit on Windows 7 64 bit. I downloaded and installed the single player launcher successfully, I just want the server to work on my local network so I can play with my brother like I do on Minecraft vanilla. EDIT: I managed to find an error message. Apparantly there was an error message displaying but it was opening and closing so fast that you couldn't see it. It says "Unable to access jarfile Tekkit.jar". Launcher/pack Version: 2.1.1 Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit Version of Java: 7.0.0.147, 64 bit Description of Problem: Launch bat file does nothing. Error Messages: Unable to access jarfile Tekkit.jar Link to pastebin of log: http://pastebin.com/a77Mvz1a Please help! I attached a screenshot of what happens. Thanks
