Happyguy0205 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Ok, so recently i downloaded Attack of the B-team. It runs at max settings between 70 and 120 fps, but i get a very annoying stuttering lag. Every five seconds it lags for a split second, it doesn't make it unplayable, but it's very annoying. I think it might just be running to hard so every few seconds it has to slow down. Ive turned off all the wind particles and even turned all the video settings all the way down and switching to the power saver setting, it doesn't make any difference. As far as i know there is no way to limit the fps in 1.6.4 without optifine. I'm on mac, 3.4 GHz Intel i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM, NIVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048. Even if just an idea a response is greatly appreciated, thanks!
Loader Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Use VSync: ON will limit the framerate to whatever the monitor can draw, that should make things easier on your GPU unless you've got a 120Hz LCD or a 100Hz CRT or something. You'd probably know if you had one of those though (CRT for obvious reasons, 120Hz LCD because those cost a bit extra) so you should be fine.
