Cant place Thermal Expansion items on the moon?

I've been having this problem on both my server and singleplayer, i went to move my stuff to the moon and i couldn't place any machines nor tesseracts on the moon. When i place them they instantly disappear, yet energy conduit seem to be able to be placed.

I realize this is probably a dead topic, but I've been having the same issue.
