How can I make this modpack more interesting?

Hey, I really wanna play Tekkit, I would play other modpacks but my PC is bad, I find Tekkit fun when it gets to the point of me actually making the quarries and stuff like that, but I just absolutely hate the mining at the beginning for basic resources, it's alright on other modpacks that are adventure ( I love adventure modpacks ), but on this, it is just boring.

So how can I make it more interesting? also I cant play with a friend because my friends dont want to play Minecraft.

 

Also, what modpacks do you guys recommend that I could run on this PC:
