problems allowing players to join my personally hosted server

the game runs / preforms normally on my lan but when other freinds try to join from their networks all the consol says is that the conection failed from their ip

 

plz help this is my first attempt at hosting a server could use the assistance / guidance.

 

and if i need to screen cap or something just tell me plz

Unfortunately, if you are running your server on LAN, only you are able to connect to your hosted Minecraft Server. Consider Port Forwarding or hosting your minecraft server on a website.

I've had this problem aswell, But fixed in no time. I'll send a copy of my server.properties file incase that helps. (I'll block out anything personal or advertising stuff.)
