World Download Help

Alright, So whenever i make a new world, i search and search for a village. and i was wondering if anyone had a world that has one and would be able to post there download, and there playing in just survival with no cheats. Also when ever i were to find a world i think that would have a village, and i go to the cooridinates where they say the village is, and its not there, any ideas? thanks. i am not sure what version of the modpack i have either. downloaded it about 3 weeks ago...

1.0.12a disabled a lot of biomes from being able to spawn villages. Downgrade temporarily and get a few villages, then update to 1.0.12a again, which has the potential of a crash, or good luck finding a vanilla biome.

Well that sucks. And how would i know what Version i have of the modpack?

If you've never touched the modpack version manually, you're running the latest, and will be running the latest every time you tell it to update when a new latest is available. Otherwise, its the version you set it to via the cog icon under the modpack logo on the launcher.
