i cant get the laucher or game to upday

so i have 2 computer & i cant get technic to update or tkkit to update i am still on 1.1 it ask me if i want to update & i say yes but i get in to game & it is not update at all i have = try deleting the technic all together & reload it but it still will not update

idk if this will help but i am runing windows xp home edition & my other gameing computer is runing windows 7 professional

Uh, what are you trying to update to? the dev build?

It's highly possible that you just downloaded a couple patches or bugfixes.

What Jay said, If you wan't the dev build go options and click The start with dev build one, Then you will have the newest technic that will be coming out but not fully out
