Launcher Install Failure BOTH .exe and .jar help

ok so here's my issue I want to run the Technic PACK mod pack but to do this I need to use the Launcher Problem is .exe will install then when clicked will only say Checking version then nothing more Can't acsess anything thew 7zip to get my log report or I'd post it. with .jar its worse I use the java Platform SE binary now in my open with there are 2 of these top dosen't work and all bottom does is flast a little black windo just longenough to see it with no info at all in it and as I wrote this I updated java and still NO GO on the game.

so please help

and one question how come no detailed install instructions on home page with info on how to make alowences with your antivirus software, or an easily worded set of instructions for the vast majority of us who don't have programming degrees but love to mod minecraft?

what in the holy hell are you doing trying to get log files with 7zip?

listen, read the stickies. there's a proper format for this kind of thing and you should follow it. what you have just posted is the semantic equivalent of "it broke, fix it. also, why haven't you told me how to make it work?" that is the exact opposite of helpful for anyone who hates themselves enough to attempt to help you.

I'm going to be nice, because I'm in a really good mood, and not probate you for this abortion of a post. instead I'm going to lock it and allow you to try again. do not post anything resembling "it dun broke and I can't 7zip my log files" or I will be upset.

for reference your log files are located in the .techniclauncher/logs directory and are in plain text.
