Launcher/pack Version: 2.1.1

Operating System: Windows 64bit

Version of Java: 7, update 4 64bit

Description of Problem: on original download of launcher found and corrected issue of 32bit java (original error message was 'can't find java directory'), however after downloading 64bit java, removing all previous versions of java (and redownloading the 64bit to make sure I didn't screw up the clean out of old versions), and restarting I now receive no error messages. Instead it pops up a small box that on the first run says downloading and nothing happens after that box disappears. On advice from the common issues I checked my Roaming folder, the .jar was present, so i deleted the technic launcher folder from roaming and redownloaded it with the same results. Thank you for your time.

Error Messages: N/A

try completely removing your whole .technic folder.

The launcher could be trying to open with the 32bit java you don't have anymore.

already tried that, and with a reload as well. I'm pretty sure its down to a file association problem, i can start it off of the command prompt.
