Question

Attached is the log. I have JDK 7u4 installed, and is first priority in java preferences. I deleted META-INF from jinput.jar too just to see if it would make a difference, however it did not. I click login and it goes to a white screen then crashes. Please help if you know what might be causing this.

Are you experiencing the problem only when loading Hack/Mine? (Also, you didn't actually say what the problem is.)

The issue is basically that there is some type of major incompatibility with the Technic/Spout Launcher and the Java7u4 implementation for OS X. I think it's something to do with not having some type of applet support yet.

Your best bet is to run the client in Java 1.6, for now.

I said it crashes after logging in, before it gets to any logo or anything. Just white-screens for half a second and then crashes. Im new to tekkit so I have no clue what Hack/Mine is. I chose tekkit as the modpack, then put in my credentials and pressed log in. Then white-screen and crash.

For the other reply: Thank you, I might downgrade to 1.6 should i want to play tekkit badly.

Check the Applications->Utilities->Java Preferences app. Chances are good that 1.6 is still on the machine, so you can just re-order the list so that it will start first.

Oh, I just rememberex, Macs don't have Oracle's JRE, do they?

Correct, though Oracle's apparently working towards incorporating the OpenJDK release into their branch, afaik.
