mrthesplit22 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Launcher/pack Version: Launcher version 1.0.1.3/ Tekkit 2.1.1 Operating System: Mac OS X Version of Java: Description of Problem: When me or my friends try to log into our Tekkit server it says "internal server error". Error Messages: http://pastebin.com/fUasmUHc I would really appreciate if anyone helped out cause we made a lot of stuff on that server! Thank you!
0 Jusupov Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Could be something got messed up on the server and spilled their guts. See if typing /remove drops -1 to the console fixes it. That command removes all dropped items on the ground. It might not help since the server is still up though. Have you added or removed any mods from the server recently? The log doesn't show which mods are loading.
0 mrthesplit22 Posted May 10, 2012 Author Posted May 10, 2012 Nope I haven't removed or added any mods or changed anything lately, the server just stoped working over night, don't know why! I'll try that command to see if it helps and then post again if it doesn't help, thanks for the tip!
0 Gibbynator Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Stopped working overnight? I had that problem the other day. Mine was caused by a chunk buildcraft got a memory leak in, caused a lot of grief for 5 minutes until the server fixed itself. But that doesn't seem to be the issue. According to the error data, your router/network is dropping packets. I've gotten this once and I fixed with a router reboot and a computer reboot. Give that a try.
0 mrthesplit22 Posted May 11, 2012 Author Posted May 11, 2012 Well the command "/remove drops -1" did not work and I wouldn't think rebooting my computer or router would change anything because the server is hosted by "www.verygames.net". I can still control everything of the server like you would on your own computer but it's just that the server isn't hosted on my computer. Anybody have any other ideas?
0 afrobob97 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Mine does something like that too. Whenever I try to craft or spawn in a Rotary Macerator (Advanced Machines), the server crashes and says: "Internal Server Error" I am also running mac and i have had no other problems with the server before this.
0 mrthesplit22 Posted May 17, 2012 Author Posted May 17, 2012 Could I see your error messages just to compare?
0 mrthesplit22 Posted May 19, 2012 Author Posted May 19, 2012 I have deduced that it's a compatibility error with the launcher and the server. My friends that have a PC can all go on the server but my friends and me that have a mac, we can't. I even deleted everything in the technic launcher directory but I still have the same problem! Someone plz help!
0 mrthesplit22 Posted May 19, 2012 Author Posted May 19, 2012 By the way there is no error message in the console log until I try to connect to the server.
0 mrthesplit22 Posted May 19, 2012 Author Posted May 19, 2012 Also it is clearly an error with the server because I can connect to other technic servers but not mine. So to recap: PC users can connect to my server while MAC users can't. The server doesn't have any error messages until I try to connect (I'm on a MAC) but it's not my launcher's fault it's the servers fault. Plz check the pastebin link if you want to see what error messages appear in the console log when I try to log in. Any help would be welcome!!!!! Thank you!
0 volakor Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 this has been happening to me too after i try uninstall not enough items but i run a windows 7 pc with 64bit java 7 and i also get a error only when i log in. I think it has someting to do with spawners as it mentions spawnmob and before that i gave myself pig spawner with nei
