Description of Problem - Every time I try to join my own server it says logging in and then Log in to long,

Error Message - Logging in (ip)

Logging in too long disconnecting.

'Latest' is not enough. Do you have the recommended build or the development build of Tekkit? And do you have Java 7? Its required now to run Tekkit. And which one of the logs you took? launcher_0.log is the correct one.

Why are you running the server in offline mode? It will mean everyone that tries to log in will have the name "Player" - that is, unless you specifically instruct it differently. You'll start losing connections because player names will overwrite each other. Trust me, it doesn't work well.

I have the exact same problem on my server, no one can join, it says end of stream but on my server console it says OUTDATED CLIENT, i checked with the other players and the are running the recommended 2.1.0/1.1 Tekkit pack from the latest launcher. The choice of tekkit 2.1.1 is not available, the recommended verison chooses 2.1.0. If we use the development build, we can get in but cant use any blocks or else we get kicked out.
