0 7cardcha Posted May 15, 2012 Author Posted May 15, 2012 Nevermind. I figured out my extreme n00b mistake. I have another question though. How do I switch between the "pages" of things I can transmute my EMC to.
0 bonfire01 Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 You can't search through learnt recipes. There are basically 2 ways to get the item you want to appear. You either put something in the left side which has a similsr (slightly higher) EMC or a better way is to set a target on the right side of the tablet. The best thing to make a target is the thing you want to transmute, but the tablet will display that item AND items with similar EMC values so you can use something similarly valuable. So, you basically pop a target on the right side with a similar EMC and you should be good to go. Only real problem is that you can program in a LOT of items and eventually reach a point where you have too many with a similar EMC ao you don't get offered what you want. In the version of EE in tekkit you sometimes won't even get offered the item you made a target but a load of other things with identical EMCs. My advice.... only program in what you really want to make. This is an issue mostly with lower EMC value items where there are tons at very similar values.
0 7cardcha Posted May 15, 2012 Author Posted May 15, 2012 Ohhhh gawwwd the beginner's guide on the EE wiki told me to teach it everything. I might have to adminhax to reset it or something. Thanks for the info.
0 Torezu Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 I keep an alchemical bag full of stuff to use as targets, and I've never had any issues as long as I target something with the same EMC value. The exception is with colored wool, for some reason. Either way, most of the time this isn't at all a problem. If you really want to reset your tablet, just remove all Klein Stars/EMC from it and delete your tablet file.
