testificate: spawn looking at two sheep with a decent amount around you, which is great for making beds early, cows, pigs, and rubber trees are all plentiful in the not so distant swamp. You are on an island chain. and start in grasslands. Almost directly under spawn is an underground mine shaft, complete with a zombie spawner, a large lake of lava, two-three+ connected ravines. At the coordinates -500, +500 there is a mycillium island and many many moo shrooms. Relatively not all that far from spawn. Issue, no cactus to make waterproof piping. Can't find it anywhere.
