why doesn't tekkit work on my mac?

i have the newest version of mac. i got it october of 2011 and it is OS X. i have been able to use technic and yogbox and such but when it comes to loading tekkit it goes to the mojang screen and after that it goes to a white screen. it sits like that until i 'x' it out. please help i want to go on a tekkit server my friend made but i can't :(

Likely you haven't gotten the java updated to 7 yet. Do that then submit a real bug report.
