No banned items=More players?

Okay im back, I have a bit of banned items on my server, and i was wondering if you guys think that i would get more players if i unbanned everything accept nukes,chink loaders, and things that can be used to dupe.

Tekkit without banned items is almost impossible.
On my server I have 1, and having less banned items does actually give more players, at least more fun for them. 
Unbanning items is very difficult, because it mostly involves you patching things, or allowing things you don't want to allow.
