Technic launcher- Takes long time to launch game

Ever since i got the technic launcher, i noticed how slow it was when i pressed login, then when it gets to the Mojang screen it wont respond for a while, then it works.

Is this normal or is just my crappy computer?

Same here, but I have the impression that it's a bit faster since the last few days...

Thanks, thought my computer was just crap but it seems to be normal. =)
