Download failed?

Hey guys, so I'm new to the technic pack, its my first mod pack ever.

Here's the deal, I'm running windows 7 and 64 bit java. I can't launch the .exe so I went into my folders and launched the .jar All seems to be working fine, login works, I select Technic from the list and everything seems to be loading properly.

But around 40% of loading minecraft.jar it stops, then converts to 40%Downloadfailed.

Suggestions?

I have the same problem, I don't know why it doesn't work because iv'e installed all the things needed for it. I was about to ask the same question and saw this, glad I'm not the only one. :)

One thing, what are stickies???

On my PC is that random! One time its on minecraft.jar and the other time it's on matmos or whatever.
