Please Help!

Hello guys!

Im having a lot of problems on my launcher.. My Java is updated and the lastest verison.

When i open the .jar verision , (I using jar beucasue .exe doesnt work) ;

1.There are no pitcures of modpacks.

2.Its says on News area "Oh Noes , Our Tumblr feed is down!".

3.All modpacks doesnt work . When i say Login it starting Check Minecraft Update but then it says "Update Failed"

4.Why .exe is doesent work for me? When i open it it says "Checking Update" but then nothing does..

So please help me! I love Tekkit but i cant play that.. My PC Details:

Windows 7 Home Premium

Service Pack 1

Intel Core i7

RAM : 6,00 GB

"latest version" isn't going to cut it. Specific numbers or no dice.

Also, you do have logs. You get them by following the instructions in that post.
