Launcher/pack Version: The latest Jar

Operating System:Windows 7 64-bit

Version of Java: jre-7u4-windows-x64

Description of Problem: Read below

Antivirus program:AVG

Error Messages:1 log

Link to pastebin of log: I cannot use patiebin so I have added them as attachments.

Info:

I know there have been other topics on this but I didn't want to bring an old one back from the dead.

So it gets stuck on the Technic launcher logo at the start. I have just upgraded to java 7 and I dont want to downgrade again as you can't play the newer build without it.

Oh and I have re downloaded and deleted my .techniclauncher folder.

I have removed all older version of java and I am running windows 7 64-bit yes and my java is 64 bit.

Do you happen to be behind a proxy server and do your logs said the connection failed? That is what I am getting and guessing this will not work with a proxy server.

Update:

I fixed it by creating the following batch file.

mkdir %APPDATA%\.techniclauncher\rtemp

"C:\program files\java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -Xmx1G -jar %APPDATA%\.techniclauncher\technic-launcher.jar

so this issue is java trying to use IPv6 by default? fascinating. I forgive you for triple posting because you just provided extremely useful information by letting us know how you fixed it. thanks for sharing
